Motivation, fun and success. A good combination.

Hi everyone,

it’s time again to write you about my experiences at the Academy in Frankfurt. The four weeks at school are over and I’m back at the hairdressing salon with my lovely co-workers.

I will tell you what I have experienced in Frankfurt and what will be happening in the future.
The subject in this module was haircutting. At the Academy, they taught us about the basic cuts. Later on, we learned about more complicated haircuttings which was a lot of fun. This time we had a shorter timeframe, which means that we really had to concentrate on what we are doing. The theory was easy to learn, but I had a harder time to practice it. On some days, I thought about giving up, but I reminded myself, how great my job actually is and that motivated to work even harder. Especially, going through this with my nice classmates and teachers who always supported me, is the greatest motivation that I could get. The haircutting needs a system, lots of concentration and great sensitivity. Those are the things that I need to work on a lot. However, it is such a nice feeling to see my improvements during this time and I’m even more excited what will come next.
